Sheikh GhulamHussain Musa Juma Okera was cousin of Munawwar Rashid Okera, Hashim Okera, Taherali Okera and Sabir Ali.

Sheikh Ghulamhussein Musa Juma Okera who passed away today Monday 1st February 16th Safar 1431 at the age 44 years old. May Allah forgive marhoom Sheikh Gulam Musa Juma Okera shower his blessings on him, elevate him in Jannah under the blessings of 14 Masoomeen (AS) and give patience to all Okera families especially to his Mother,Wife.Children brothers and sisters. Aameen. As we all know that marhum was instrumental in opening many Shia centers in Kenya and Tanzania.

Marhoom had seeked his religious knowledge from Iran in eighties Hashambhai can recall the exact date ofcourse and tonight shabe wafaat e Imam Redha ( as )

We are very sorry to hear the sad news of the demise of Sheikh Ghulamhussein Musa Juma Okera who passed away today Monday 1st February 16th Safar 1431. Sheikh Ghulam has served Ahlul Bayt a.s. since last 20 years. Not only Okera family but the Tanzanian Shia and People of Arush have lost a social worker and Aalim. Sheikh Ghulam was an Aalim who produced hundreds of Tanzanian Shia Teachers who are serving East African Shia Communites. Sheikh Ghulam managed to establish many Shia Centers through out Kenya and Tanzania. Hundreds of African Shia were fed with meat during Hajj Eid. This is only some of his activities. Sheikh Ghulam served and helped everybody in East Africa regardless of his religion or faith. Besides sending condolence to the family of Sheikh Ghulam Moosa Juma Okera and the whole family of Okera.
