IT GOES LIKE THIS:   And while I sat there quietly "Oh, dearest child of mine ... "I don't care about your posture, "Tell me what is in your heart, "Speak to me in private "My child, you don't need lessons,
                            "PLEASE TEACH ME,...LORD
                             I WANT TO KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO PREY.
                             I NEED SOME WORDS
                             WHICH ONES ARE RIGHT?
                             PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO SAY......I'VE BOWED MY HEAD
                             I HAVE KNELT DOWN, BUT.....SHOULD I BE UPRIGHT?  I'VE CLOSED MY EYES,
                             I HAVE RAISED MY HANDS, OR.....SHOULD I FOLD THEM TIGHT ?

 IN FIQ-E-JA'FARIYA EVERY STOP OF HOW TO PREY HAS BEEN TOLD OVER AND OVER AGAIN.  WITH A DEFINED ORDER THAT THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO PREY.  WHEN IT COMES TO "N A M A Z"!  THE IMPORTANCE OF IT CANNOT BE MORE EMPHASIZED ANY MORE.  THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO PERFORM 'NAMAZ' (A PRAYER)!

                             DO I STAND UP?
                             SHOULD I SIT DOWN?
                             DEAR LORD.....DEAR LORD WHAT DO YOU LIKE?
                             ARE LIGHTS TURNED ON
                             OR THEY OFF?  MAYBE.....CANDLE LIGHTS?
                             WEAR MY GLASSES?
                             TAKE THEM OFF?
                             BE AT MY DESK OR TABLE?
                             SHOULD I WHISPER?
                             SPEAK OUT LOUD?  DO I QUOTE THE HOLY BOOK?
                             WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE TIME?
                             DO YOU PREFER THE DAWN?  SHOULD I PREY FAST
                             OR KEEP IT SLOW?
                             BETTER SHORT....OR LONG?  I AM NEW AT THIS
                             WHAT ARE THE RULES?

 IN FIQ-E-JA'FARIYA ALL THE STEPS OF PRAYER HAVE BEEN EXPLAIN TO ITS VERY DETAILS!  WHEN SOME ONE IS ASKING ABOUT
 ALL OF THAT WHICH HAVE BEEN TOLD....WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THAT PERSON?  IS THAT PERSON KNOWLEDGEABLE OR IGNORANT OF 'AH-KAAM' OR  NAMAZ?  THE QUESTIONS QUOTED IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED LINES ARE FROM AN IGNORANT MIND
 AND NOT DELIVERING THE VERY DETAILS OF NAMAZ WHICH HAVE BEEN EXPLAINED IN DETAILS....WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THAT?  SHOULD A JAFARI BOY/GIRL SHOULD GROW THE IGNORANT WAY OR THE KNOWLEDGEABLE WAY?  IF YOU WANT TO EDUCATE THE INNOCENT MIND.....GIVE THEM THE STRAIGHT INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE....
 IN THIS POEM NON-ISLAMIC/
 AFTER "WHAT ARE THE RULES?"  THE RULES SHOULD BE EXPLAINED TO THE MUSLIM BOYS/GIRLS.  THAT IS THE KIND I FAVOUR MOST.  I DISCOURAGE THE THINGS WHICH TAKES THEM AWAY FROM "SI-RA-THEY-

It is the communication with him  what Allah is encourging you to do without any fear so that we  can keep our  life simple and enjoyable.
Hasan Sahab has rightly said: The spirit of the thought is more important than any thing else.

A common sense is very important , So please try to keep your and ours way of life simple so that we all can enjoy a few moments  while we are living on this earth as Allah's guests.

 Allah says:    "Tell me what is in your heart,
                       And tell me what you seek;
                       Tell me of your sorrows,
                       And of those things that made you weak."
                       About what concerns you most;
                       Just talk to me each day;
                       Tell me anything you want, dear child,"

Take care

  THIS POEM, IF READ WITH "M'RIFA", GIVES LITTLE SENSE (PER JAFRI FIQ TO A LITTLE EXTENT).  BUT ANY OF THE CANADIAN BORNE READS IT WITH NO UNDERSTANDING (WITH NO "M'RIFA") IS NOT THE CORRECT PRAYER ACCORDING TO ISLAM, PER JAFRI FIQ!  BECAUSE 'KNEELING DOWNE' IS STRICTLY DONE BY 'MUSH-RE-KEEN'
WE HAVE TO BE CAREFUL OF WHAT WE READ AND UNDERSTAND!!

I want to know exactly how to pray.
Which ones are right?
Please tell me what to say. I've bowed my head
I have knelt down, but ...should I be upright? I've closed my eyes,
I've raised my hands, or ...should I fold them tight?

Do I stand up?
Should I sit down?
Dear Lord ... what do you like?
Are lights turned on
Or are they off? maybe ...candle light?
Wear my glasses?
Take them off?
Be at my desk or table?
Should I whisper?
Speak out loud? Do I quote the Holy Book?
What do you think about the time?
Do You prefer the dawn? Should I pray fast,
Or keep it slow?
Better short ... or long? I'm new at this
What are the rules?
I want to do it right. How do I know
You'll even hear
That I am in Your sight?
Waiting for some sign,
I heard a gentle voice say,
Do you think I really care
About the time of day,
Or whether you are standing up,
Or kneeling when you pray?"
Or about the place you choose;
Just open up your soul to me,
I have no other rules."
And tell me what you seek;
Tell me of your sorrows,
And of those things that made you weak."
About what concerns you most;
I know about your good deeds ...
You have no need to boast."
Just talk to me each day;
Tell me anything you want, dear child,
Anyone can pray."
