There is no such rule of Shariyah and there is no such Hadees which says that seeing the moon of 3rd evening result in bad luck. This is a superstition and all the activities which are done to 'ward off evil' resulting from seeing this night's moon is bidah and innovation.
This is Haram to believe in such kind of thoughts and it is wajib to oppose all unislamic and superstitious believes like this one.

Salam,
Just a doubt I heard from some who told me that if we see month's 3 (i.e on 2nd eve of the month) the whole month will be filled with worries and bad Luck basically its not a good start for the month.
I'm not sure about it can any one tell me whether is it right ..? & I was also been told that there is a specific prayers to offer after seen moon on 2nd eve of month.
