Medical Assistance:
Most of the beneficiaries of Hidaya Foundation's (www.hidaya.org) Medical Assistance Project live on less than $3 a day. Such people barely meet their food and residence needs, hence their basic medical needs are overlooked as they can't afford. It creates medical complications in the long run among children, elderly and, in particular, women. Hidaya provides assistance to such families for doctor visits, lab tests, surgeries, and medicines. Hidaya also gives a priority to the poor who are suffering from a contagious disease such as Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, various skin diseases, etc. so that the disease does not spread throughout the communities.
