[MahdiUniteMuslims] Fw : Hadith of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s)

There is, perhaps, no better illustration of the close links between Islam and science than the Prophet Muhammad's often-quoted statements:

"Seeking knowledge is compulsory on every Muslim."

"wisdom is the lost property of the believer."

"whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make his path to paradise easy."

Learning is essential for every Muslim, be it known that God likes those who are in search of knowledge and wisdom. - The Honorable Prophet of Islam (P.B.U.H.) ((Osool- e- Kafi, vol. 1, p. 35))

The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) dispatched his soldiers to battlefront against the enemy. When the soldiers returned triumphant, the Prophet said '"Congratulations: For those who have successfully completed the Minor Struggle (Jihad-e-Asghar), but they have yet to engage themselves into Greater Struggle (Jihad –e-Akbar)." Don't be miser for people before you have been destroyed due to miserness. Holy Prophet (s.a.w.)

"The few that is sufficient is better than the much that diverts." Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s)  Ref:Al-Mawaaizh

Prosperous is the one who is guided through Islam, and who has sufficient means of life with which he is convinced. - Holy Prophet (sawa) (Nahj Fasahah)

I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These, and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every trouble."  - Mahatma Gandhi [Young India (periodical), 1928, Volume X]
