Dear Brothers and Sisters, I am writing on behalf of the Islamic Center of Haiti. Amir Abu Bakar; The Islamic Center of Haiti has received minimal damage to its structure however there is some damage but what is more pressing is the news that the Muslims in this community have received no assistance or help from the government or relief agencies thus far and they have suffered deaths as a result of getting no help. The brothers there have been fortunate enough to get help from Brother Tessial Antoine who is making daily trips to the Muslims at the Islamic Center and who is assisting the Brother Ali (in the Dominican Republic) with trying to get medical supplies to these Muslims.
I have spoken directly with the Brothers and am asking that all in reach of this email to give money and to donate as much as possible for our brothers and sisters Insha'Allah.
Please spread the word to others as well, this could be us in need and we should stay mindful of that Insha'Allah.
To all the non Muslims in receipt of this email as well, many Muslims have given to the effort to assist all those that are in need in Haiti and we have not picked or chose who should receive the help however the help is being rendered in many places and some of our religious brothers and sisters are clearly being neglected.... Please give and help where you are able.
As a collective effort I am asking that all who are able to set up a drop off point at there local Masjid/Mosques/Community Centers to please ask the members of your communities to donate the following items:
Drinking water
Medical Supplies (any kind
Monetary Donations can be sent through Western Union addressed to : Tessial Antoine (Dominican Republic)
Note: The brothers have also said that if there are any pictures or videos needed to support the request and need of the Muslims in Haiti that they can provide them as well.
I am asking personally that any persons in administration of any of the masjids or islamic establishments to please collect as many supplies that you can. I will forward you a mailing address insha'Allah to have the items shipped.
Brother Ali (Dominican Republic Hospital) has requested that I send him the names of all that send in monetary donations so that they can be directed to the proper places inshaAllah so if you are able to assist please just send me some sort of confirmation or email with your name and location ..... Please!
May Allah reward us all for our efforts to assisting our fellow brothers and sisters in need and May Allah relieve those in their suffering... amin

Brother Ali from the Dominican Republic has contacted me again and has shared a few things with me about some of the Muslim Families in need : The medical need of these families is crucial.... Brother Ali is requesting that the Muslims get together and help to sponsor some of these families to be flown to either the Dominican Republic Hospital or a hospital in Germany inshaAllah. He stated several times that the need for medical attention is crucial for these families. Also he has requested that if possible any of us could send the following items inshaAllah.

Drinking Water
Tents
blankets/sheets
Money! Money! Money!
First Aid Kits or any other medical supplies.
InshaAllah I am going to use my home as a drop off point..... I am asking that all of you please keep in mind that these groups are getting no help from any of the agencies there! We have to help them..... inshaAllah.
