آدم بن ابی ایاس، شعبہ، عبدالعزیز بن صہیب، انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ سحری کھاؤ اس لیے کہ سحری کھانے میں برکت ہوتی ہے۔

سحری کی برکت کا بیان مگر یہ کہ واجب نہیں ہے اس لئے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے پے درپے روزے رکھے اور اس میں سحری کا تذکرہ نہیں ہے
