[shia_strength] Take the Deal, Mr. President

Take the Deal, Mr. President

By Pat Buchanan

If Barack Obama is sincere in his policy of "no nukes in Iran - no war with Iran," he will halt this rude dismissal of the offer Tehran just made to ship half its stockpile of uranium to Turkey. Consider what President Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollah himself have just committed to do.

American Arrogance

By Javed Hussain

Hillary Clinton's outburst is reminiscent of the arrogant 'stone age' call after 9/11. On reflection she just might have discovered that Pakistan has lost more soldiers than the combined losses suffered by foreign forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, and five times more civilians than those lost in the 9/11 strikes, which eminently reflect on Pakistan's commitment to the war on terror.

Some 37 members of Saudi's intelligence service, accused of being behind the leakage of the confidential document, were also reported to have been arrested.

Great Depression 2.0. Bet on it.

If the government cuts spending at the same time as consumers, then overall spending declines and the economy slips into recession. This is what the deficit hawks want--a return to recession. This is politics, not economics.
