Village Baragaon (Madva) is in Jaunpur of Uttar Pradesh state. It is 6 kilometers from Shahganj Railway station toward east-west direction at Lucknow road. It is famous for its unique Juloose-e-Ammari and azadari. Juloose-e-Ammari celebrated once in the year in the months of Rabi-Awwal. In whole Ayaam-e-Aza (Muharram, Safar, and 8 day of Rai-Awwal) people are busy in Majlis and Matam. 10 days of Muharram is so sadly atmosphere in this village. From morning 8 a.m. to late night 11 p.m. majlises are running in different Imambaras. Ladies also organize majlises in the home and Imambaras. Ladies's majlises are organize more than male's majlises.
