Re: [shia_strength] We all are MUSLIM and we all follow ISLAM.

salam alaikum,

Forefathers are to be followed only if they follow the shariah.......and not otherwise......this is what the ayah says....as far as the religion of the prophets AS is concerned...they were all Muslims....not shia or sunni.....shia sunni are sects not religions...and sects are not allowed in Islam.

In a true Islamic government there is no room for sects....only Islam with full brotherhood....thats why Imam Khomaini said...La sunniyah...la shia....Islamiyah...Islamiyah....

Ws Salam,

Please always do provide proof for your claim. if you claim that Prophet(s.) was neither shia nor sunni, do provide proof.

You are doing Qiyas of Prophets(s.) on infidels. Quran has ordered infidels not to follow their forefathers, if this order is for all, then you(ahmad) should become an infidel because I think your father is a muslim, and according to you we should not follow our forefathers.

If you are a muslim this means your father must be an infidel, because you yourself believes that every man should opposes the religion of his father,

Allah has revealed this verse for infidels not for Momins, Momin should follow their fathers if they were Momin too.

I will qoute plenty of Ayahs of Quran, and if you would like to reply, then you have to give reply for each Ayah.

Surah Safaat Ayat 83
Verily Ibrahim(as) was his Shia.

This verse proofs that Ibrahim(as) was a Shia, so his descendants should be. or proof from Quran that Ibrahim(as) descendants embraced some other religion other then Shiaism.

And in Surah Baqara Ayat 132 Allah says
And who turns away from the religion of Abraham but such as debase their souls with folly?
Allah is saying that anyone who turns his face away from religion of Ibrahim is wicked.

And in Surah Qasas Ayat 15 Allah says that the follower of Musa(as) was his Shia, of his own religion, that means Musa(as) was also Shia.
And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes.

And in Surah Maryam Ayat 68 Allah says that every Ummah of a Prophet(as) is Shia
So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell;

Read the arabic of all the Ayahs and you will see the word Shia, Shiatehee, Shiatin etc.

Ibrahim(as) was a Shia, from his descendants All were shia, Musa(as) is from the descendants of Ibrahim(as), He was a Shia, his follower was a Shia, ummah of a Prophet(as) is termed as Shia in Quran. Prophet Mohammad(s.) forefathers were Shia. Prophet(s.) Himself was Shia.

Give reply of each Ayat I have quoted.

Hasnain Naqvi

Salam Alaikum,

The prophet SAW was neither Shia nor Sunni. The prophet SAW did not order his Ummah to devide themselves into sects. In fact sectarianism is against the clear instructions of Quran. (watasimu be hablillahi jamiun wa la tafarraqu).

Also, its not at all necessary that if the father belongs to a particular ideology the son should also follow the same. In fact Quran is againt this idea. Quran says ""(O Mohammed, when you tell them follow One God, they say we follow what we found our forefathers doing)...What! even if their forefathers had no knowledge"") .

From this ayah its clear that we should not follow what our father's have been doing if its against Quran and Sunnah.....the sunnah of one's father is not more important the  sunnah of the prophet.

wassalam

Wa alaikum us salam,

Dear brother,

If my father is Shia then I will be born Shia, and so with every human being. If a person is muslim then his children will be born as a muslim and vice versa.

Prophet Mohammad(saww) is from lineage of Ibrahim(as). As Ibrahim(as) was Shia( as written in Surah Safaat), so Ibrahim(as)' s sons were all shias, Ismail(as) was Shia, Ishaq(as) was Shia, Yaqub(as) was Shia, Yusuf(as) was Shia, Musa(as) was Shia, Haroon(as) was Shia, because all were from the lineage of Ibrahim(aS). As Ibrahim(aS) was Shia so His descendants will be Shia. The lineage continues till Prophet Mohammad(saww) . Prophet(saww) grandfathers like Kasa, Abd Munaf, Hashim etc were Shias so Yes Prophet Mohammad(saww) is Shia.

As-Salamu Alaykum brother

I appreciate your reply, but can you tell me Prophet Mohammad PBUH followed which madhab Sia or Sunni.

Is it good to devide the islam into madhabs and fight upon it when prophet Mohammad himself never did so.

Ws Salam,

I think you are misunderstood.

There are two different things 1)Deen 2) Mazhab.

Deen is the Path and the way you travel on the path is Mazhab.

Our Deen is Islam, whether Sunni or Shia, both are muslims as both believe in Islam. But the way to travel on it i.e the path is the Mazhab you are following.

One thing more, Deen is of Nabi, and Mazhab is of Imam.

Before Ibrahim(as) Deen was present, but when Ibrahim(as) was given Imammat the Mazhab e Imammiyah started known as Shiayt as Quran says in Surah Safa'at Ayat 83. and in Surah Qasas Ayat 15 the follower of Musa(as) was titled as SHIA, He called Musa(as) for help and Musa(as) went to help him.

If calling Shia is wrong, then Allah has called Ibrahim(as) and follower of Musa(as) as Shia in Quran. What you say now.

Shia is not a Deen, rather it is a Mazhab, started from Ibrahim(as), and we are following Mazhab of our Holy 12 Imams(as).

Hasnain Naqvi

Subject: [shia_strength] We all are MUSLIM and we all follow ISLAM.

As-Salamu Alaykum

Allah in Quran has called his followers as MUSLIMS not as Shias or Sunni or by any other name, so why should  classify ourselves under some sects.

"We all are MUSLIM and we all follow ISLAM."

Come on Bothers and sisters , unite us as a true muslims and follow the actual beauty of ISLAM.

3: 52. When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah." Said the disciples: "We are Allah.s helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.

3: 64. Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah. that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah.s Will).

3: 80. He would never ask you to take angels and prophets as your lords. Would he ask you to become kafir (unbeliever) after you have become Muslim ?

4: 125. Who has a better Deen (way of life or religion) than the one who is a Muslim (submits himself entirely) to Allah, does good to others and follows the faith of Abraham the upright one, whom Allah chose to be His friend?

5: 111. Remember, when I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and My Messenger and they said: 'We believe and bear witness that we have become Muslims."

7. 126. Look at your verdict, you want to take revenge simply because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came before us! O Lord! Give us patience and cause us die as Muslims."

10: 72. If you have turned away from my message, I did not lose any thing, for I did not ask any reward from you for my services: my reward is only with Allah, I have been commanded to become a Muslim."

10: 84. Moses said: "O my people! If you sincerely believe in Allah, then put your

trust in Him, if you are really Muslims."

12: 101. O Lord! You have indeed given me a kingdom and taught me the interpretation of dreams. O, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, You are my Protector in this

world and in the hereafter, make me die as a Muslim and admit me among the

righteous."

15:2 The Day will come when the unbelievers will wish that they were Muslims.

16: 89 O Muhammad, warn them about that Day when We shall call a witness from every nation to testify against it, and We shall call you O Muhammad to testify against your people: that is why We have sent down to you this Book (The Qur'an) to explain everything - a guide, a blessing and good news for Muslims.

16: 102 Say, "The Holy Spirit (Gabriel) has brought it down piecemeal intact from your Lord to strengthen the faith of the believers, and to give guidance and good news to the Muslims."

21: 107, 108. O Muhammad, We have not sent you but as a blessing for all the worlds. Tell them: "It has been revealed to me that your God is One God - will you then become Muslims?"

22: 78. Strive in the Way of Allah as you ought to strive with sincerity and discipline; He has chosen you and has not laid upon you any hardship in the observance of your faith - the faith of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before in prior scriptures and in this (The Qur'an), so that His Messenger may testify against you and you yourselves may testify against rest of the mankind. Therefore, establish Salah, pay Zakah and hold fast to Allah, Who is your Protector - so what an excellent Protector and what a splendid Supporter!

27: 80, 81. The fact is that you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear the call especially when they turn their backs and pay no heed, nor can you guide the blind people to prevent them from straying; none will listen to you except those who believe in Our revelations and become Muslims.

27: 91, 92. O Muhammad, say to them: "I have been commanded to worship the Lord of this city (Mecca), the One Who has made it sacred and Who is the Owner of all things; and I am commanded to be of those who are Muslims, and that I should recite The Qur'an. Now, whoever follows this guidance will be guided for his own good, and to him who goes astray, say: "I am merely a Warner."

29: 46. Do not argue with the People of the Book except in good taste - except with those who are wicked among them - and say: "We believe in that which is sent down to us and that which is sent down to you; Our God and your God is the same One God to Whom we submit as Muslims."

43: 68, 69. "O My devotees! Today you have nothing to fear or to regret," it will be said to those who believed in Our revelations and became Muslims,

46:15 We have enjoined upon man to treat his parents with kindness. With much trouble his mother bore him, and with much pain did she give him birth. His bearing and his

weaning took thirty months. When he reaches the age of full strength and becomes forty years old, he says: "My Lord! Grant me the grace that I may thank you for the favors which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good deeds that will please You, and grant me good children. Surely I turn to You in repentance and surely I am of those who are Muslims."

72: 14, 15. Surely there are some among us who are Muslims and some who are deviators from the truth. Those who have adopted Islam have found the way to salvation, and those who have deviated from the truth will become the fuel for hell."

2: 208. O believers enter into Islam completely and do not follow the footsteps of Satan,

surely he is your clear-cut enemy.

3: 19. Surely the only Deen (true religion and the Right Way of life) in the sight of Allah is Al-Islam. Those to whom the Book was given did not adopt ways different than this except out of envy among themselves, and after true knowledge had come to them. They should know that Allah is swift in calling to account those who deny His revelations.

3: 84, 85. O Prophet, say: "We believe in Allah and what is revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants; and in that which was given to Moses, Jesus and other Prophets from their Lord; we do not discriminate between any one of them, and to Allah do we submit in Islam (Muslim)."  If anyone is looking for a religion other than Islam, then let it be known that it will not be accepted from him; and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.

5: 3. ………Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favor upon you and approved Al-Islam as a Deen (way of life for you). Anyone who is compelled by hunger to eat what is forbidden, not intending to commit sin, will find Allah Forgiving, Merciful.

6: 14 Say: "Should I take as my protector anyone other than Allah, who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Who feeds all and is fed by none?" Say: "Nay! I am commanded to be the first of those who submit to Allah in Islam and not of those who commit shirk."

6: 125 Whomever Allah wills to guide, He opens his chest to Islam and whomever He

intends to confound, He makes his chest narrow and squeezes so tight that, at the

very idea of Islam, he feels as if his soul is going to climb up towards the sky. That is

how Allah places a blight on those who do not believe,

39: 11, 12. Say: "I am commanded to worship Allah and serve none but Him and I am commanded to be the first of those who submit to Allah in Islam."

39: 22. Is the one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam and is walking in the light from his Lord like the one who has learned no lesson and is still a non-Muslim. So woe to

those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah! They are clearly in error.

72: 14, 15. Surely there are some among us who are Muslims and some who are deviators from the truth. Those who have adopted Islam have found the way to salvation, and those who have deviated from the truth will become the fuel for hell."

ALLAH in Quran also condems Sects strictly.....
[3:103] You shall hold fast to the rope of GOD, all of you, and do not be divided.
[6:159] Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform them of everything they had done.

Any one who divides Islam is against the religion. So when ever you find a muslim calling himself as sia or sunni or what ever, please stop him, We all are muslims, we have to follow what ever is written in Quran.
