Bismillah Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem. Alhumdulillah. Peace and blessings on Muhammad (sallalahu alaihi wa sallam), his Noble Companions and Family. Ma'ashar Al Mu'mineen Audio on http://www.islamicc ARAB POODLES IN This week, (to be precise- tomorrow and the day after tomorrow), we will have what the media calls Heads of State of the Arab countries meeting in Al A'rab are more intense in their kufr and nifaq and it suits them not to be privy to the information pertaining to the legal parameters of what Allah has revealed. (Surah At Tawbah verse 97) There is not one ayah in the Qur'an that provides us information about these types of people, there are other ayaat… Bear in mind as the Munafiqeen and those who have a disease in their hearts say "these (meaning the committed Muslims), feel vainglory about their deen… (Surah Al Anfaal verse 49) These Munafiqun are very cautious lest a surah comes down to expose what is in their hearts/internal thoughts. (Surah At Tawbah verse 64) Around you there are Munafeequn from Al A'rab and also from the people of Al Madinah… (Surah At Tawbah verse 101) When these Munafiqeen come to you they say "we bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah" and Allah certainly bears witness and knows that you are His Messenger and Allah bears witness that these Munafiqeen are liars. (Surah Al Munafiqun verse 1) We are not here to exhaust the tens/scores of ayaat in the Qur'an about this class of people, but we are here to try to rehabilitate our understanding/ When we are told that there are twenty, (or so), Heads of State who come from these Arabian territories to meet in a summit, it doesn't occur even into a Muslim who is reading the Qur'an daily/weekly/ These A'rab/Arabian types are the most vicious in their kufr meaning when they are opposed to Islam militarily/politica This was true in the time of the Prophet. When Allah's Prophet was going public with Allah's words, Quraysh and Makkah were the most intense in their kufr against Allah's Prophet. They delayed/hampered/ … when these types of people become nominal/figurative/ When they enter the lines of Muslims in their salaah, when they participate in the ceremonies of Islam, Allah says about them … they are more vicious in their nifaaq… (Surah At Tawbah verse 97) When they are the out-and-out enemies of Allah and His Prophet they are the most vicious of them; when there are the self proclaimed Muslims/committed Muslims that they claim to be- just like today's Heads of State who are meeting in Libya this weekend- Allah says about them they are more intense in their duality/double allegiance in trying to be with Imperialism and Zionism and at the same time saying "they are with those who are trying to liberate Al Quds from occupation." Remember this every time these characters are brought into the public realm by the mouth-pieces of kufr around the world who refuse- and obviously that is in their nature. They are not going to explain these ayaat to us, it is our responsibility to understand these ayaat within the time we are living in. Then, there is an ayah that the Prophet used to read, (according to some sources every Friday- Surah Al Jum'ah and Surah Al Munafiqun. The first Surah in Surah Al Munafiqun As these Munafiqeen come to you, (Oh Prophet of Allah), they say…(Surah Al Munafiqun verse 1) For those of you who understand Arabic and the language of the Qur'an, this is not a passing statement. They are saying this trying to tell us that there is a substance to what they are saying because it is in strong language- two emphasisers: inna and the lam. The ayah is trying to tell us that as much emphasis as you hear coming from the language/propaganda … but Allah bears witness that you are His messenger and Allah bears witness to the fact that these Munafiqeen are liars. (Surah Al Munafiqun verse 1) Brothers and sisters- this a serious issue because we have some Muslims today who would look at everyone who says Ash'hadu an laa ilaha illa Allah wa ash'hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah and say "these are Mu'mineen." (Do) you know- right now, the condition that we live in, there's no real difference between a Mu'min and a Muslim and the Qur'an tells us there is a significant difference between both of them. These, (once again the same types of people we are speaking about), say "but we are committed Muslims" … (Surah Al Hujurat verse 14) Allah says to His Prophet … say/respond: you have not committed yourselves to Allah… (Surah Al Hujurat verse 14) But how are we to know whether they commit/don't commit themselves to Allah? Here is where if we don't take power considerations into our thinking then we will never be able to identify this class of disguised people. Never! During the time of Allah's Prophet, it took Ghazwah Uhud, Ahzab, Fath Al Makkah Hunain and the rest of these military responsibilities to have these types of people exposed and this is what's happening today. It's going to take the sacrifices/jihad/military responsibility of Muslims to expose these freeloaders who conveniently claim that they belong/are from the ranks of the committed Muslims. Allah is telling His Prophet to tell them … rather say you acquiesce/surrender to the Islamic condition… (Surah Al Hujurat verse 14) Now, the world has Islam in it; Islam has become a social order and you have become part of that, but don't say that you are carrying these responsibilities of Islam and you are breaking new grounds because it's not you who are doing this; it is the committed Muslims who are doing this and by them doing this your character is clear to us. … and commitment has not penetrated into our hearts… (Surah Al Hujurat verse 14) If we can take this lesson and understand it in the context of what is happening today, we would have gone a long way in bringing down the false imagery that preoccupies today's Muslim mind and at least in the realm of perception we are clear on the issues. Brothers and sisters, committed Muslims… Thinking through/along with the words of Allah and the practical behaviour of His Prophet… there arises a question that we are all going to have to answer… That question is how do we deal with a class of people who during the time of Allah's Prophet did not have power but after Allah's Prophet passed on gradually entrenched themselves in these positions of power until they've become in our time and in our world the rulers of the Muslims? This is a legitimate question that each one of you and all of us combined are going to have to answer to because Allah in His everlasting words and the Prophet in his everlasting example did not leave us in a vacuum. Every human behaviour has been covered in these twenty-three years of experience, trials and errors, limitations and potentials of human nature and of pooling all of these details together to come to today's world and say "what do you say about these people/Heads of States/Presidents and Kings, who for the 22nd time, (this is the 22nd time there's a summit meeting that these grand Munafiqeen), have not been able to solve/liberate one inch of stolen/prime Islamic territories?" Not one inch! This is an obvious failure of these types. You call them what? Some people say in their khutbahs "Allahumma unsur Imamana" in the Haram in Makkah itself from time to time the preacher/khateeb will say "Allahumma unsur Imamana." Ask this guy and all of these who belong to that outfit of religious monopoly "who is this Imam? Your king? An unknown person? Let us know. You're not as weak not to express this person's name?! Your Imam is who? An agent of the United States?!" Brothers and sisters- we have rulers who are the quintessential Munafiqeen by all the meanings of the ayaat in the scripture and all the hadeeths in the Sunnah. As one brother aptly put it: "Allah will take care of Imperialist America." We see how Allah is taking care of Imperialist This khutbah was presented by Imam Muhammed Asi on the occasion of Jum'ah on 26 March 2010 on the sidewalk of |
