IMAM ALI IBN-UL-HUSSAIN a.s.

Imam Sajjad a.s. was bestowed responsiblity of leadership (imamat) on the night of mourn & poverty (sham-e-gareebah) & was shackled & made prisoner along the descendants of Prophet [pbuh]. After one year when he set free from bars, he moved to Madinah and preached islam through his supplications which were accumalated in the form of book called SAHIFA-E-KAMLA. He kept on weaping till 40 years & was poisoned by Waleed bin Abdul Malik (l.a).
