Re: [MahdiUniteMuslims] How to Calculate Five Times of the Prayers

Dear Brother,

Asalam O Alaykum,

I could not quote the exact verse from quran, but as I experienced the following calculation for prayers.

Fajar, The Azan time begin 1 Hour and 20 minutes before sunrise time and it is better to offer prayers 1 hour before sun rise.

Zohar, the azan time starts just half of sun rise and sun set for example if sun rise at 5 and sets at 7 the total hours comes to 14 and half of it is 7 hours after sun rise that is 12 noon,it is better to wait for another half hour at least after mid time or offering prayers.

Asar time begins just 1 hour 30 minutes before sun set as per above example it would be 5:30 for Azan and offering prayers.

The Maghrig is obvious at sunset time but it is better to wait another 5 minutes for Azan and 10 minutes after sunset for prayers.

Isha azan time begins after 1 hour 30 minutes after sunset i.e. 8:30 PM as per above example.

One more important time is Tahjud it times starts mid of the night as per above example it comes to 11:30 midnight but it is better o offer prayers 2 hours before sunrise.

You may discuss these times with your Imam Masjid and take his advice.

Remember me in your prayers,
Shamshad Haider
