CAMPAIGN V01-12: END GENOCIDE OF SHIA MUSLIMS IN PAKISTAN
Bismihi Rabbis Shuada On the advent of Holy Month, Voice of Oppressed sends its greetings to our Imam Al-Hujjah AJTF and announces the set up of this forum. What is Voice of Oppressed? On April 2 2012, the skies over Chilas-Gilgit echoed with the cries of 100s of civilians Shia Muslims, who were targetted by a mob of trained killers in the broad daylight and in the presence of Governments security agencies. Moved by these brutalities, the leadership of Scholars announced an International Day of Protest. Many protests were held outside Pakistani embassy and consulates in the cities of Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, London UK, Washington DC and Los Angeles. Thousands of people of conscience stood in solidarity with those who were burtalized in Chilas. Voice of Oppressed is an extension of that campaign.
Today the Voice of Oppressed, a loose coalition of community groups, volunteers and religious leaders pledge, that WE WILL NOT STAY QUIET at the Genocide of people of shia faith. We believe in Shia-Sunni unity. We believe in Justice for all and We demand that the Government of Pakistan immediately arrest the killers and bring them to justice. - We are the Voice of the 16 year old Intermediate student , Syed Turab Haider, whos body was burned with acid in Karachi Pakistan.
- We are the Voice of the brave community lawyer, Askari Raza, who was a campaigner for the bare-footed ones.
- We are the Voice of those noble pilgrims of Quetta, who were killed in cold blood on the road side in Mastung.
- We are the Voice of the Noble Soul of Shaheed Allama Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini, who was a campaigner for Justice , Unity and Tolerance.
This Holy Month we appeal to the community to join hands with Voice of Oppressed by : - Sending a message of protest to the Ambassador of Pakistan , Sherry Rahman. Call at 202-243-6500. Ext 2000. Be polite but firm. Demand that Pakistan Government arrest the killers of Shia masses. or Email ambassador@embassyofpakistanusa.org ' Sample Email: Ambassdor of Pakistan : We the people living in North America are very concerned at the continued Genocide of Shia Muslims by a handfull of criminal thugs. The Pakistan government must arrest the killers and bring them to justice. This continued genocide is being witnessed by the world and we will take this case to human rights body if there is no end to this genocide.

Amir ul momineen and Imam of the Justice Ali ibne Abi Talib (a.s.) said in his final will to his children: "Be enemy to the oppressors and be assistant to the oppressed people." Following the path of Ahlulbayt (a.s.) means upholding justice and standing against injustice.Today followers of the path of Ahlulbayt (a.s.) have been oppressed all over the world.They are now targets of evil forces with different names and forms. After this school was able to achieve success in bringing an islamic revolution and people of the world were looking at its leadership as a hope for their future, enemies of Islam realized the danger of the pure Mohammaden Islam, the path of Imam Khomeni (r.a.) and the path revolution and they organized state terrorism against this school all over the world. Now a days this school is under attack in Syria,Bahrian,Saudi Arabia,Iraq,and mainly Pakistan where everyday many innocent people are killed on a regular basis. Until now many notable personalities, schloars, officials, teachers, doctors,lawyers and students have been targeted. We the people living in N America feel our responsibility to voice against this oppression and we invite all peace loving and lovers of the justice to stand together against all forms of injustice in the world. We hope that by standing for this noble cause we will be able to anticipate the reappearance of Imam (ajtf) of our time may Allah swt send peace and blessing upon him.
